Endowment For Education

The Endowment for Education of the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges funds bankruptcy research and education, including basic empirical research on the causes and effects of bankruptcy and the effectiveness of the bankruptcy process, and ways to improve the judicial administration of bankruptcy cases and proceedings.  Funds are available to qualified persons and organizations for research support, stipends and grants.  To recognize outstanding contributions to bankruptcy education, the Endowment periodically presents an Excellence in Education Award.  In 2007 the award was presented to Professor Kenneth Klee of the UCLA School of Law.  A complete list of Excellence in Education Award recipients is listed in the chart below.
